How it Started
Welcome to CUT, where style meets passion!
Hi, I’m Jayne, and I’m thrilled to introduce you to our family-run business. With the support of my wonderful husband Kurt and our energetic boys, Angus and Madoc, we’re dedicated to helping women look and feel great.
Growing up in the small town of Darfield on the Canterbury Plains, I was surrounded by a large, loving family of eight. My mother, an inspiration to us all, never left the house without putting on some lipstick and “tidy clothes,” even while tending to her garden. This early lesson taught me the profound connection between looking good and feeling good, where Beauty and Fashion play essential roles in this equation.
In my early teens, my focus naturally gravitated towards Fashion and Beauty, and in my early 20s, I successfully owned and ran salons for nearly two decades. It was a seamless transition to Fashion, as I adore being part of a special community of women who appreciate style and the transformative power of feeling great about themselves.
Helping my customers is my ultimate passion, and my years in Beauty provided me with endless insights into colors, looks, and techniques to make women feel confident in their own skin.
