Refund policy

We understand that purchasing clothing over the internet, whilst convenient, can result in sizing that does not work, wrong fabric, or a style that just does not work for you. So for peace of mind, any item brought online (except sale items) can be returned within 10 days of purchase for a refund. The amount of the credit will be less any shipping paid on your original purchase. 

NOTE: Refunds are processees to NZ Bank accounts regardless of the Original payment gateway,  otherwise restocking fees may apply.

Please note none of this limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act (see Warranty below) for normal or sale purchases.

Due to the time critical nature of the fashion industry returns must be received in within the 10 days return period.

The items returned must be unworn , unwashed, odour free and undamaged. They must be in their original packaging with their tags still attached. Sale items cannot be returned (unless faulty). We reserve the right to refuse to accept any items that isn't in as new, unworn condition.  As is our right under the Consumer Guarantees Act we do not accept returns if you change your mind 


To start a return, you can contact us at cutclothingnz@gmail.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Unit 15/26 Central Ave, Prebbleton. 7604, Canterbury. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Alternatively we will send the exchange once receiving the returned item. 

Return Freight of new item is at the customers expense unless it is due to fault on the product (freight for the replacement item for - change of mind or size changes are at the customers expense). If you are unsure on your size please contact us before we send the item - we are always more than happy to help.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 3 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
